Charles Hollowell ID'd as pedestrian struck by train

A Spotsylvania man was killed when he was struck by a train Wednesday.
Charles Hollowell, 74, was crossing the tracks at a bend in the tracks, unaware of the approaching train. The Engineer sounded his horn and applied the emergency brakes before striking him.
It happened around 4 p.m. north of the grade crossing on Mine Rd. in Spotsylvania County.
The train was headed from Boston to Newport.
