Marco Sanchez Hernandez pleads guilty to sex trafficking

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) - A man from Mexico who was living in the U.S. illegally has pleaded guilty to transporting more than 100 women for sex.
Thirty-seven-year-old Marco Sanchez Hernandez, who lived in Riverdale, Md., entered the plea Monday in federal court in Alexandria. He faces up to five years in prison when he is sentenced on Jan. 4.
According to a statement of facts, from 2005 through July 2012, Sanchez Hernandez was part of a network that transported women to engage in sex acts in Delaware, Maryland, Washington and Virginia.
