Marine Corps Marathon road closures: See map of road closures
October 26, 2012 - 07:56 am
One of the biggest Washington runs of the year, the Marine Corps Marathon, takes place Sunday. About 30,000 runners are expected to participate.
The marathon begins at 7:55 a.m. and takes runners from Arlington to Georgetown and the Mall, among other areas.
The marathon, however, has the potential to cause major traffic headaches. There are road closures throughout the entire area. Check out the map above so you can avoid road closures.
