Maryland Dream Act rally set in College Park
October 6, 2012 - 07:18 am
LANGLEY PARK, Md. (AP) - Students have scheduled a march in support of the Maryland Dream Act, which would allow illegal immigrants to pay in-state tuition if their parents have paid taxes and they have attended Maryland schools.
The march is scheduled for Saturday from the Maryland Multicultural Center in Langley Park to the University of Maryland, College Park.
They are marching to build support for a ballot question in November. A press conference is scheduled before the march.
Students will close out the march by sharing their personal stories on campus.
