Police arrested a man in connection with a Glenarden homicide.
Michael Deangelo Briscoe of Landover is accused in the Oct. 21 death of 26-year-old Shariel McCutchen. Prince George's County police say McCutchen of D.C. was found suffering from a gunshot wound in an apartment in the 8400 block of Hamlin Street around 2:45 a.m. She later died from her injuries.
According to police, Briscoe, 24, shot McCutchen after he was involved in a physical altercation with another female inside the apartment. Briscoe and the second woman are in a relationship, police add. That woman was not injured.
Briscoe is charged with first and second degree murder, as well as other charges.
