NHL labor conflict to scrub games through at least Nov. 30

Bad news today for NHL fans, not to mention Caps fans.
Simply put, because of the labor impasse, no games until at least Nov. 30, according to several reports.
Per NJ.com, "According to Elliotte Friedman of CBC Sports, the league told teams games were canceled through Nov. 30. He did say the Winter Classic wasn't part of that group.
ESPN's Pierre LeBrun tweeted the official announcement may come at 2 p.m. this afternoon. With this news, a full season is out of the picture, but an abbreviated schedule is still a possibility.
