Palmer Park shooting victim ID'd

A 23-year-old was shot and killed inside his home in Palmer Park late Thursday night, officials say.

The shooting happened inside a home in the 1800 block of Village Green Drive just before midnight Thursday, Prince George's County Police say. Dlonte Renard Days died from his injuries early Friday morning after being taken to an area hospital.

Police are still searching for a suspect.

Officials told the Gazette that an investigation into the shooting and any potential motives continues.
