Police investigate stabbing on Capital Crescent Trail

Police in Montgomery County are investigating a stabbing on the Capital Crescent Trail.
An initial report came in about a woman stabbed in the 6800 block of Arlington Trail. Turns out, a homeless man allegedly stabbed another homeless man. Police took the man into custody; the victim was alert and conscious and taken to the hospital.
Police are still investigating a sexual assault that happened on the Trail Sunday evening between Massachusetts Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard.
