PULASKI, Va. (AP) - Services are scheduled Wednesday in Pulaski for a 27-year-old Virginia state trooper who was struck and killed while directing traffic in Hanover County.
Andrew D. Fox was killed Friday night after he was struck by an SUV.
An investigation is continuing and no charges have been brought against the driver of the vehicle that struck Fox.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, also in Pulaski, followed by burial at Summerfield United Methodist Church Cemetery in Elk Creek, Grayson County.
Fox was a Tazewell County native who was on special assignment when he was fatally injured.
His family asks that contributions be made in his honor to the Virginia State Police Association Emergency Relief Fund.
