At least four 7-11 convenience stores have been robbed over the past two weeks in the Woodbridge and Dumfries areas, and Prince William County Police officials are probing whether or not the crimes are related.

The four robberies, which have taken place between Sept. 27 and Oct. 10, all share similar characteristics, police say. On each occasion, either one or two suspects walked into a 7-11, displayed either a shotgun or a handgun and demanded money. In three of the robberies, the suspects got away with cash.

Prince William County Police say that the four robberies happened in the following sequence:

The first two robberies were solo acts by a lone suspect, police say, who is described as a 25-30 year old black man standing more than 6 feet tall. He had his face covered in during both incidents. A second suspect, described as an 18-25 year old man standing about 5-foot-11, was allegedly involved in the final two.
