November 22, 2012 - 11:19 am
A 25-year-old Baltimore man was killed in a crash in Pasadena early Wednesday.
Police say Amon Samuel Whitee crashed into a tree at Mountain Rd. and Fairwood Rd. just before 1 a.m.
Anne Arundel County Police received several calls about a drunk driver in a red Honda minivan with Maryland tags.
Police spotted the van driving erratically and swerving across the roadway on Fort Smallwood Rd. near Edwin Raynor Blvd. in Pasadena. Police say when the officer turned on his emergency lights and siren, Whitee sped up and drove out of sight.
Officers later found the fatal crash. It’s unknown whether alcohol or drugs contributed.
