The holiday weekend proved to be a big success at the box office.

Bill Murray channels Franklin Roosevelt in Hyde Park on Hudson, recreating the weekend FDR invited the King and Queen of England to visit. It arrives in theaters December 14 and proves you can only expect the unexpected from Bill Murray.

Fans of the Lord of the Rings trilogy are counting the days until December 14 when episode one of The Hobbit arrives.

Broadway’s beloved les Mierables gets the big screen treatment with Hugh Jackson, Russell Crowe and Ann Hathaway. It arrives Christmas day.

Twilight: Breaking Dawn won the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and has made $227 million since its opening, just a little more than Skyfall, now the most successful James Bond adventure ever.
