Dominque Hayes charged in Charles Co. hit and run

A man faces charges for hitting a man with his truck, and police say the two had argued prior to the accident.
Police say Dominque Akeem Hayes, 23, struck the 52-year-old man around 10:45 p.m. Sunday after they had an argument at a relative's house in Brandywine.
According to a release, the victim left the house on foot. Hayes followed in his truck and struck him, leaving him alongside Poplar Hill Rd. The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Hayes was arrested Tuesday and faces first and second-degree assault charges.
