Columbia family welcomes baby girl on Election Day
November 7, 2012 - 09:46 am
A Columbia, Md. family is celebrating for a very special reason other than Obama’s re-election – their newborn baby girl was born on Election Day.
With the help of Howard County firefighters and paramedics, Brittany and Joseph Duperre, of Columbia, Md., welcomed their newborn baby girl, Adrienne, at 3 a.m. Tuesday.
Officials say the couple called 911 once they realized the baby was coming and, minutes later, crews showed up just in time to cut the umbilical cord and take them to hospital.
It’s the couple's second child. They also have an 18-month-old son.
Mom and baby Adrienne are said to be doing well.
