Erik Copes, Vaughn Gray, George Mason basketball players, suspended
November 6, 2012 - 11:15 am
George Mason University men's basketball sophomores Erik Copes and Vaughn Gray have been suspended for the first three regular-season games for misconduct.
School officials say Copes and Gray will not dress for the home-opener against Virginia on November 9, Bucknell on November 13 and Mercer on November 16. But the players will be allowed to practice with the team.
Both players will practice with the team, but will not dress for games. However, they will be eligible to play in the second dame of the Paradise Jam, a three-game tournament in the Virgin Islands.
