Man shot, killed in Laurel

A murder in Laurel overnight is related to illegal gambling, police say.
Prince George’s County Police spokesperson Julie Parker says a person was shot in the 11600 block of South Laurel Drive.
Authorities say officers found a man shot inside a home, which was set up as an illegal gambling operation. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. No further details were immediately available.
