Metro: Single tracking to affect weekend riders
WASHINGTON (AP) - Metro says single tracking on the red, orange, blue and yellow lines will affect weekend train riders.
On the red line, trains will single track between Takoma and Forest Glen from 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
Orange line trains will single track between East Falls Church and West Falls Church on Friday and Sunday night. Metro says customers traveling through those work zones should add 15 minutes to their travel times.
On the blue line, trains will single track between Stadium-Armory and Addison Road beginning Friday and continuing through Sunday.
Metro says customers should allow between 15 and 20 minutes of additional travel time.
On Saturday, yellow line trains will single track between Pentagon City and Reagan National Airport.
Customers should add 15 to 20 minutes to their travel times.
