Navy sailor homecoming: Dad surprises son as Darth Vader at birthday party

Forget the figurative "Luke, I am your father." During a recent military homecoming in Kansas, Darth really was the daddy.

In a video posted to WelcomeHomeBlog.com last week, a 5-year-old boy was all set to battle Darth Vader during his Star Wars-themed birthday party. Darth, he was told, would be an older cousin.

Imagine his surprise when after he smited the Dark Lord, the boy pulled off his mask to reveal that it was his father, 33-year-old Justin Whyte, home on leave from the United States Navy.
