Nebraska Avenue multi-vehicle crash in Northwest
A total of 21 patients have been taken to area hospitals following a multiple vehicle accident involving a contracted school bus along Nebraska Avenue in Northwest.
A 14 year old child was ejected from the right rear window of the bus. He is likely the most seriously injured from the incident. The bus driver may have a broken ankle.
MPD reports a Reston Limo shuttle operating as a school bus, an SUV and another vehicle collided in the 4100 block of Nebraska Avenue Monday morning.
D.C. Fire officials says 18 to 30 kids were aboard the bus, all of which are being evaluated, including the bus driver.
One of the two passenger vehicles was being driven by a 16 year old.
