Political dating site helps to match similar-minded voters
The couple that votes together, stays together… or at least that is what one, new, dating site is hoping.
A new service, Political Matchmakers, aims to bring together users that align themselves with a political party and help them find love.
“The mission of Political Matchmakers is to connect likeminded individuals who share similar, unique political interests. This can be a complex and challenging task. Talking politics in the workplace, and even in some social situations can be taboo. Yet, shared political values is oftentimes a defining criteria in what we look for in a significant other,” according to their site.
The site is the brainchild of J.D. Beebe, Alex Fondrier and Francois Briard and is the parent company of political dating sites RedStateDate and BlueStateDate, Fishbowl DC reports.
