As we get ready for voters across America to cast their ballots in the 2012 presidential election, we can take a look back at how the voting went when Barack Obama defeated John McCain on Nov 4, 2008.
On the map below, which was created by and courtesy of Esri, you can zoom in on any precinct nationwide, click on it and find out the results from that specific area of the country. The bigger the dot is, the more decisive the victory was at that precinct for either Obama or McCain.
