Storme Swann guilty of hotel sex assault, jury wants 95 years
November 16, 2012 - 02:54 pm
The jury wants a former Md. man to spend 95 years behind bars for assaulting two women in their Arlington hotel room in August 2010.
Storme Swann, 51, was found guilty of two counts of robbery, two counts of abduction and one count of statutory burglary Thursday.
Prosecutors say Swann broke into the hotel room on South Glebe Road, assaulted, and bound the mother and daughter visiting from Canada. He then took cash, jewelry and electronics. Prosecutors say Swann sexually assaulted one of the victims.
Swann has prior robbery, kidnapping and sex assault convictions.
Sentencing is scheduled for early February.
