Tavares Harris, Rockville Metro shooting accomplice, goes on trial
November 26, 2012 - 05:53 am
A teen who allegedly helped a friend plot the shooting of another teen at the Rockville Metro Station goes on trial Monday.
Authorities say 18-year-old Tavares Harris helped 17-year-old Kevin Nguyen plan the shooting of the then 16-year-old boy last May.
Authorities say when Nguyen and Harris confronted the other teen at the Metro station Nguyen opened fire, hitting the teen and a female bystander.
Both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Nguyen’s trial is set for December.
