Tim Kaine, George Allen, Joe Biden, Mitt Romney make final lap in Virginia
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The final day of campaigning in battleground Virginia is expected to be a busy one.
Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, have stops planned in Sterling and Richmond on Monday. They'll be joined by singer John Mellencamp.
Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney will campaign in Lynchburg and Fairfax. He stopped by Newport News on Sunday.
The stops cap off a crowded weekend lineup that saw visits from Romney running mate Paul Ryan and former President Bill Clinton.
Meanwhile, former governors and U.S. Senate candidates Tim Kaine and George Allen will rally supporters on Monday.
Like the presidential race, the U.S. Senate contest is extremely close heading into Tuesday's election.
