Tori Danielle Stitely killed in Odenton hit-and-run; Driver at-large
Authorities in Anne Arundel County say a 27-year-old woman is dead after a hit-and-run crash along Annapolis Road in Odenton that police say she caused. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene on foot.
Police say Tori Danielle Stitely, of Annapolis, Md., was killed when she pulled out of a parking lot and into the path of a Chevrolet Silverado in the 1100 block of Annapolis Road about 8:18 p.m. Sunday. Police say the two vehicles collided, and the driver of the Chevrolet – described as a white female with brown hair wearing a pink tank top and jeans - fled the scene on foot.
Paramedics transported Stitely to shock trauma in Baltimore, where she was later pronounced dead, police say.
An initial investigation indicates that the Lexus caused the crash by failing to yield the fight away to the Chevrolet.
It is unknown if speed, alcohol or drugs were factors in this crash.
At this time, the driver of the Chevrolet is still at large.
