TSA app aims to help travelers with long lines, holiday travel
November 21, 2012 - 11:23 am
As we are in the midst of the holiday season, most of us are excited about the prospect of days off and visiting with family and friends. The not-so-exciting part: holiday travel lines and crowds.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is hoping to help alleviate some of the frenzy with a new mobile app. The app, called “My TSA,” aims to answer travelers’ frequently asked questions.
The app provides real time estimates on how long wait times are for lines at security checkpoints at most major airports and also provides helpful reminders on what can, or cannot, be taken on the airplane.
