Vernon Bryant Jr. killed in Hanover crash

A man is dead after an early morning crash in Hanover Monday.
Police say Vernon Bryant Jr. of Hanover struck a guardrail and crashed just after 1 a.m. on Corporate Center Drive near Old Stoney Run Way.
When officers arrived they found Bryant’s SUV fully engulfed in flames. He was pronounced dead on scene.
According to a Facebook post, the 41-year-old was a newlywed, and a recent father. He was also an Air Force officer.
Police in Anne Arundel County are investigating the exact cause of the crash. They did not know Monday morning whether alcohol was a factor.
