Alexandria police cruiser found

A stolen Alexandria police cruiser has been found, according to a release.
The cruiser was reported stolen overnight in the 2700 block of Duke Street. It was found around 5 p.m. Friday in their jurisdiction.
In the meantime, police continue to search for the thief.
The cruiser had a Remington 870 shotgun and a Panasonic Toughbook laptop in it. Police haven't said whether anything was stolen.
