I-495 Outer Loop crash kills two
Three vehicles were involved in an accident that killed two people and injured several others on I-495.
According to Maryland State Police, a 17-year-old male and a 30-year-old woman died in the crash on the I-495 Capital Beltway Outer Loop before Connecticut Avenue.
Police say around 7:40 p.m. Monday a 2008 Chevy sedan was traveling on the Outer Loop when it lost control, hydroplaned and started spinning. The sedan then struck a 1994 Toyota pickup. A third vehicle, a 2010 Chevy pickup, also struck the sedan.
The two passengers killed were traveling in the 2008 Chevy. Two other passengers in the same car were also being treated for injuries, as was the driver and a passenger in the second car.
