Camp Springs crash kills one

A person was killed when a tractor trailer and a pickup truck collided near Joint Base Andrews early Tuesday morning, police say.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Old Marlboro Pike and Dower House Road at about 3:30 a.m. The identity of the victim has not been released.

The roadways around the area of the crash were reopened several hours after the incident while investigators reconstructed the scene.
