Nichols Battle found dead in Capitol Heights

Investigators are looking into the the murder of a young man in Capitol Heights that happened just before 7 a.m. Thursday.

Police have identified the man as 21-year-old Nichols Andrew Battle. They say he was found inside a car near the intersection of Pepper Mill Drive and Drylog Street suffering from a gunshot wound.

Neighbors had reported the vehicle to be suspicious.
