Darcie Stanback-Kelton's body found pinned under SUV
WALDORF, Md. (AP) - Police in Charles County are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found pinned under a sport-utility vehicle in the front yard of a vacant home.
The Charles County Sheriff's Office has identified the woman as 42-year-old Darcie Stanback-Kelton of Fort Washington. Authorities say they don't know why she was at the Waldorf home or how she was pinned under the vehicle.
Her body was found Wednesday afternoon. Authorities say the homeowner came to check on the property, which is being renovated, and saw the SUV in the yard. He then spotted the woman pinned underneath a front tire. Stanback-Kelton was pronounced dead at the scene.
The body has been taken to the state medical examiner's office in Baltimore for an autopsy.
