Facebook interns make $25,000 more than average American
December 14, 2012 - 10:09 am
Life is pretty sweet in intern world… well, at least some interns.
A new report is showing that Facebook pays interns about $5,602 per month.
"That ends up being a base salary of about $67,000 per year. According to the Social Security Administration, that's a good $25,000 more than the average US citizen makes, which is $42,976,"Glassdoor.com reported.
While it seems Facebook takes the cake in their treatment of their interns, they are not the only ones.A Forbes report named Google as the number one workplace for interns, citing “learning experience” and “great pay” among the perks.
