Jake Tapper, ABC News’ White House correspondent, is leaving the network to work for CNN.
Tapper will be CNN’s chief White House correspondent and will host a weekday program.
“A ferocious reporter – and now a best-selling author – he has built a reputation as one of the most prolific and multi-talented journalists on the beat, scoring scoop after scoop,” said ABC News President Ben Sherwood.
Jonathan Karl was named as the chief White House correspondent for ABC News.
