Jermile Davis shot and killed after burglary call

Police are offering a hefty reward for information that brings them to their suspect responsible for shooting and killing a Southeast D.C. man near Catholic University Thursday.
Jermile Davis, 24, was shot in the 4400 block of 6th Place NE shortly after 8 p.m. Police responded there for a burglary and Davis suffering from a gunshot wound. He died at the hospital.
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information should call police.
