Metro New Year's Eve, New Year's Day schedule amended
December 31, 2012 - 09:42 am
Metro is staying open two extra hours early Tuesday morning to accommodate New Year's Eve revelers who are hitting the town to celebrate the arrival of 2013.
The Metrorail system will run on a regular schedule throughout Monday and will remain open until 2 a.m. Tuesday morning. The exact "last train" times vary from station to station and riders should add two hours to those.
New Year's Day will include a Sunday schedule for Metrorail and Metrobus. The system will open at 7 a.m. and close at midnight.
