WASHINGTON (AP) - The former controller of Clyde's Restaurant Group has been sentenced to two years in prison for embezzling nearly $650,000 from the company.
Fifty-five-year-old Nancy Preston of Vienna, Va., also received a money judgment of more than $239,000 and was fined $62,000 at sentencing Wednesday.
Preston pleaded guilty to mail fraud in September. According to a statement of offense, Preston, who worked at Clyde's for nearly 30 years, diverted Clyde's money to her personal credit card to buy goods for her use.
