Redskins tie for NFC East lead with 38-21 win over Browns
AND THAT'S A WRAP: Redskins win 38-21 and, coupled with the Giants' meltdown against Atlanta, find themselves tied for the NFC East lead.
FOURTH QUARTER: Browns answer with a fourth-down no-go. 3:34 left.
FOURTH QUARTER: Redskins, with little resistance, come right back, survive a non-fumble and move to the brink of a tie for the NFC East lead with a TD from the 8 by Morris. Redskins 38-21.
FOURTH QUARTER: But then. . .Weeden goes 69 yards to Travis Benjamin on a deep ball. Touchdown. Redskins 31-21.

THIRD QUARTER: Cousins with a sweet little play-action TD toss from the 2 to Hankerson. Touchdown. Redskins 24-14.

THIRD QUARTER: Well, well, well. Weeden opens work by being picked by Jackson. Redskins are in business.
UNOFFICIAL HALFTIME NUMBERS: Redskins have 159 yards; Cleveland, 143. Cousins is 11 of 19 for 146 yards, a touchdown and a pick. Weeden is 13 of 20 for 88 yards. Alfred Morris has just 18 rushing yards.
HALFTIME: Redskins go cautious, settle for the break.
SECOND QUARTER: Richardson in from the 1. Touchdown. Browns 14-10.
SECOND QUARTER: Trent Richardson in from the 3 for second TD. . .but review deems him just short.
SECOND QUARTER: Browns suddenly on the move. Get the Redskins 7 at two-minute commercial warning.
SECOND QUARTER: Redskins move, stall, Forbath does not. Field goal from 44 yards. Redskins 10-7.
SECOND QUARTER: Browns looking increasingly inept on offense. Three and out and a punt.
SECOND QUARTER: Redskins were about to go for it on fourth and one from the Browns 38 but movement on the line forces the punt.
FIRST QUARTER: Browns go nowhere and will punt to begin second quarter.
FIRST QUARTER: And then, boom. Cousins to Hankerson for 54 yards. Touchdown. Game tied at 7.
FIRST HALF: Nothing doing for Cleveland. It punts. What a fine, entertaining game this is. . .
FIRST HALF: Redskins try a deep route, don't get call, punt. Still not one one first down for the visiting team.
FIRST HALF: Browns sputter, punt.
FIRST HALF: My, this is working out well. Redskins go nowwhere in a hurry, capped by a sack of Cousins sack. Punt. RGIII squirms. . .
FIRST HALF: Cousins pass over the middle tipped, intercepted by T.J. Ward and returned to the Redskins 5. Next play, Richardson rushes for the touchdown. Browns 7-0.
FIRST HALF: Browns get near midfield, stall, punt.
FIRST HALF: Redskins first drive a three-and-out.
FIRST HALF: Browns will kick off.
PREGAME: Sonny says he pretty much knew earlier in the week that Griffin would be a no-go. Reason being, Shanahan was raving to him about how well Grossman was practicing.
