Small explosive device detonated near MPD station in Northeast

A small explosive device was detonated by authorities outside a Northeast Washington police station Tuesday morning after a threat was called in, police sources say.
MPD officials say that a bomb threat was called into a station at 1805 Bladensburg Road NE early Tuesday morning.
Sources say that a small device was found in the back of the station, which was detonated.
