Two shot, including 4-year-old child, in SE Washington

Two people were shot, including a 4-year-old child, Saturday night in Southeast Washington, D.C. police say.
The shootings occurred at 1242 Savannah Place SE.
Police say the shooting began as a confrontation between two men in fron of a home around 8 p.m. Multiple shots rang out, and one of the men suffered a gun shot wound to the leg.
One of the bullets pierced the door of a home, striking the child in the hand.
Both victims were conscious and breathing, police say. Both are expected to be okay.
While vague, police describe the suspect as a black male with a gray hat and gray jacket.
