Wheaton shooting leaves man gravely wounded

A 21-year-old is in grave condition after he was wounded late Tuesday afternoon in Wheaton. Police say he was likely shot.

Police say the victim was found wounded in Northgate Park in in the 14000 block of Connecticut Avenue.

Police say the suspect and the victim were probably associated.

Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding this crime to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070.
