Anne Arundel school start times may be pushed back

Welcome news for some Maryland school kids: a petition is being delivered on Thursday to the superintendent of Anne Arundel County schools in hopes of pushing back school start times.

ABC affiliate in Baltimore, Maryland, WMAR, reported that schools in Anne Arundel County now starts at 7:17—among the earliest start times nationwide.
Parents want school to start no earlier than 8 am.
