DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) - Prince George's County Police say they are investigating the shooting death of a 23-year-old man in District Heights.
Police say the victim has been identified as Antonio Delonte Ross of the 1600 block of Tulip Avenue.
Police say Ross was found suffering from gunshot wounds when they responded to a report of a shooting near Ross' home about 9:20 p.m. Friday night. Police say he was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Investigators say they believe Ross was targeted by suspects who fled the scene in a silver Chrysler 300, which was later found in Washington, where it had been set on fire.
