Broken City review by Arch Campbell: Great cast, thin script
January 17, 2013 - 04:10 pm
In Broken City, the new crime film starring Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe that opens Friday, Crowe plays a big-city mayor, Hostetler, who hires Wahlberg, an ex-cop, to follow his wife to find out if she's cheating.
While Wahlberg, who plays New York City Police officer Billy Taggart, chases the mayor's wife, played by Catherine Zeta-Jones, bodies pile up, cars get chased and shots get fired - all the usual.
Despite the great cast, the script is thin. Two stars from Arch Campbell.
