Chevy Chase crash prompts suspect search

Chevy Chase Circle is now open after a crash led to a search for a suspect by D.C. and Montgomery County Police.

It happened near the intersection of Connecticut and Western avenues around 4:45 a.m. Sunday. Police say the suspect fled on foot after the car overturned.

The Circle and surrounding streets were closed while police searched for the suspect. The streets re-opened about three hours later.
