Clinton home significantly damaged by fire

A fire caused significant damage to a vacant house in Clinton Tuesday evening.
Around 6:15 p.m., the two-story home on Student Drive had heavy fire showing. It took 35 firefighters about an hour to put the fire out.
Police are investigating what caused the vacant home to burn.
Fire loss is estimated at $300,000.
