DCA: Man charged for carrying 13 kubatons through checkpoint

A man was charged for trying to carry 13 kubatons, or expandable batons, through a checkpoint at DCA Monday. Officers found a stash of 13 batons in the man’s carry-on luggage.

The man was cited on a local weapons charge. He was permitted to rebook his flight to New York.
