Denver Mayor does 'Ray Lewis dance' after Ravens win over Broncos
Not to rub it in, but Baltimore is having a pretty good week.
Not only are the Baltimore Ravens in this Sunday’s Super Bowl in New Orleans, but, Denver’s Democratic Mayor Michael Hancock came through on the last part of a bet this week. Hancock bet against the Ravens when they played the Denver Broncos in a Jan. 13 NFL divisional playoff. The Broncos lost to Baltimore 38-35 in overtime.
Under the terms of the bet between Hancock and Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, the Denver mayor had to send Hancock had to send Rawlings-Blake a box of dry aged "cowboy cut" rib eye steaks from Lombardi Brothers Meats and do Ray Lewis' signature game dance.
Hancock followed through on the latter, posting a video of him doing the “Ray Lewis dance” and then saying “Good luck, Ray Ray.”
Hancock's spokeswoman said he initially had to put off the bet because of an injury.
