Dog walker discovers young man's body on walking path in Herndon

A resident who was walking a dog discovered the body of a young man in Herndon Saturday morning, police say.
Herndon Police were called at 11:06 a.m. and alerted to the body along the walking path near the 700 block of Tamarack Way.
Police say the deceased man appears to have been in his 30s. The man might have been exposed to the cold elements last night without proper winter clothing, according to the preliminary investigation.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
