Georgia Ave. in Aspen Hill water main break causes some lane closures

A broken 16-inch water main on along 1300 Georgia Ave. between Aspen Hill and Silver Spring is causing delays around the area.

Crews have been working to repair the break, which happened sometime Tuesday night, throughout the night into Wednesday morning.

The water main break has left a handful of customers without water and two southbound lanes closed.
